New York City and Brooklyn wedding photographer, Agaton Strom.

It is my objective to capture the uniqueness of you, the genuine love you feel and people you care most about. My style is that I work very quietly in the background to capture the spontaneous moments that are the foundation of any meaningful experience. I love all the creativity and care that go into the details of a wedding and feel honored to capture the story of your day.

If I were to use one word to describe how I can be most valuable to my clients it is that I am flexible. I work with you so that you can have your wedding exactly the way you want it. I meet with you before the wedding to discuss your needs and desires so that your expectations can successfully be met.

What is your photography style?  My style is mainly photojournalistic. This means that I do not try to control the surroundings. I work hard to capture the real events as they happen.

How long have you been photographing weddings? I have been photographing weddings since the summer of 2000 and I have long ago lost count of how many events I have covered. It all started when I was invited by a wedding photographer to help out at a wedding and I have been hooked on it ever since. I look at every wedding differently in my attempt to capture the unique and individual moments.

Digital or film? All my work is digital. The digital format allows me full control of the image and I am therefore able to deliver the quality that is expected of me.

Do you do any formal or posed shots? Yes, I always do formal group portraits and also portraits of the bride and groom. I ask each couple to come up with a list of the desired group pictures and then work with the bride and groom to set aside a brief period of time for the group portraits. It is my objective to be as unobtrusive as possible and to prevent any interruptions in the natural flow of the day. This is why I try to limit the portraits session to 30 minutes or less.

Do you shoot both black and white and color? Yes, the final product is a mix of black and white and color. All images are captured in color and then I will select the black and white images. In the final product I also include a separate disc with color versions of the black and white images. This is so that you have all options available.

How long do we have to wait to see the pictures?  It is my objective to present you with the digital proofs on your personal website within four weeks following the wedding. Within four-five weeks of the wedding you will receive all the images and your bound proof album.

What do I do with the digital images? The digital images have been corrected and prepared for print. You have the option of taking your images to any photo lab of your choice and make as many reprints as you’d like. You may also order prints and albums through me. Your choice!

Do you offer albums?  Yes, I offer a variety of digitally designed coffee table books.

How many pictures do you take?  The number of images that I take at a wedding varies depending on the length of the event. On average I will deliver about 550 to 650 images.

Do you do table shots? No.
